Our programs and support services are designed to be safe, supported and supervised with an emphasis on improving the self esteem and wellbeing of young people and those who care for them.
We achieve this through personal development and life skills learning programs for our participants and provide individual solution focussed counselling with our clients.
This model encourages peer support , assistance to strengthen community links for young people and their carers and Youth Worker Support within the guidelines of promoting respect for self & others in the knowledge young people are able to make informed and positive choices in their lives and make a meaningful contribution by sharing their Vision for their Community.

Youth Counselling
Youth Workers and support staff are available to talk to young people Monday to Friday by appointment about any issues, which may be a concern to them. Support is Free and Confidential.
We also provide assistance with managing issues facing young people, their families and carers.
Specialist support is in place for young people 12 - 24yrs currently experiencing Mental Health issues or at risk of facing a Mental Health issue.
Non Clinical Counselling is offered each Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday and referrals to specialist services and other youth & family agencies can be arranged also.

Drop In Centre
Young people can speak to someone without needing to make an appointment by calling into our office on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday Between 3.00pm to 4.00pm
Youth Accommodation
Youth Services Bundaberg offers affordable accommodation to young people over 16 years and up to and including 24 years of age. Rent is calculated at 25% of the young person's income and electricity and general grounds maintenance is included.
The Accommodation consists of 7 Single Bedroom Units in a courtyard setting with a shared laundry area and common room. Eligible tenants who have an independent low income and are "earning and/or learning" can apply if there is a vacant Unit or they can be kept on a waiting list for the next available Unit.
Tenants meet each month for a "House Meeting" to discuss any improvements or suggestions and also receive life skills support while they are making this transition from home to more long-term accommodation. Length of stay is usually 12months depending on the needs of the young person and the guidelines are the same as the Rental Tenancy Authority.
To apply - It takes usually up to 7-10days to process applications if there is a vacancy. Proof of income, 2 references and identification are needed.

Support Groups
Primarily funded by QLD Health to provide support in the prevention and awareness of mental health issues facing young people aged between 12 and 24 years of age.
Youth Services Bundaberg is an organisation to help local young people at risk needing support and can also assist their family and carers.
Small groups where peer support can be found for young people sharing problems such as eating disorders, help with problems at school or home, relationship issues, parenting. New Programs are offered each term.

After School & Holiday Programs
Monthly events and projects are run such as a youth magazine, concerts with live bands, dances run by DJ's, workshops and activities. The Youth Management Team members who are always looking for volunteers coordinate this and the projects are created so there is something positive for young people to do after school, on weekends and school holidays.
All events are 100% Drug & Alcohol Free activities and supervisors all meet "Working with Children" suitability requirements.
Leadership & Education Programs
Structured programs are also offered for upper primary to high school and other students on Citizenship, Career Planning, Mentorship Programs, and Youth Management & Leadership positions, Future Parenting, Coping Skills and Independent Living Skills.
Fundraising Events
The Youth Management Team run Concerts, Dances and Fundraising projects to assist other young people in our Programs by facilitating a variety of Local, State and National Youth Projects. Volunteers of all ages are welcome. Application forms can be requested either via Email: or Telephone: 41532227
